Does India have a ?National Security Strategy?? How does one understand India?s defence preparedness in the context of the three services? The discourse on the making of a national security policy, its political implications, linkages with foreign policy, the issues of civil-military relations, defence research and development, and the role of the State and participation of the private sector in defence production are discussed in this volume.
