Health Care Communication in India: Contexts and Trends
Three A’s of health care—Awareness, Access, Affordability; and at four stages of Promotive, Preventive, Curative and Aftercare are important as well necessary conditions for good health in India. ‘Healthcare in India’ book presents the realty check on these. Effectiveness of health-care communication depends on strategies, channels, source-messages and appeals to the targeted audience by effective health-care delivery efforts by all participants. Solving India’s healthcare affordability and accessibility problems is possible only if we bring in a complete paradigm shift in health policies and healthcare infrastructure.
