Every Pastor/leader needs a successor as everyone have to step down from their position at some point in life either through retirement or through death, etc. But many do not plan for succession. Because, often in many independent churches in India pastor’s son(s), son(s) in law, or relatives become the next senior (or main or lead) pastor after the incumbent lead pastor.
