Mohshin Habib is a Bangladeshi-born and based writer and journalist. A MA in history from Jagannath University, Dhaka, Habib has worked in several national English and Bengali dailies. Currently he is working as Head of Editorial and Literature in Daily Ittefaq, the oldest newspaper of the country. His columns, both in English and Bengali, are published regularly. He is the author of 'Bangladesh and Beyond: Odd Behavior of the States and the Communities'. His interest on minority harassment led him to write a Bengali novel titled 'Shekorer Daag'. He has translated more than 10 books including two from the Harry Potter series and The White Tiger by Aravind Adiga. Habib has deep interest in international politics, Greek Philosophy and Indian mythology.
