MLF 21 has come out with its fest-book Aripan Mapping Mithila in South Asia, this is third in the series of fest-books. The idea of MLF fest-book was borne out of the concern that festivals have a great chance of turning into merely an event if it's not supported by sincere attempts at documenting the purposes and processes of its being. After Ahibat (अहिबात) and Madba (मड़बा) Aripan अरिपन too is an expression in vernacular from the region with research & academic concerns and engagements. A multilingual concept for the proposed work was desirable as scholarship does not follow any single language. It has articles in Sanskrit, Maithili, English and Hindi.
