The study of the environment in one way or the other has always been a recurring theme in all sciences, and spheres across the globe. The environment implies natural surroundings and external conditions influencing growth and development of people, animals or plants, and that of living or working circumstances etc. Thus, there is a symbiotic relationship between living and non-living organisms because environment provides varying kinds of habitats for different life forms and affects life styles of various organisms in different suites of habitats having distinct assemblages of land, water, soil and climate, in turn, organisms affect and modify the environment. This sort of mutual relationship makes the natural ecosystem more convenient, efficient and vibrant. About the Authors Dr. Shri Kant Kulshrestha is Assistant Teacher at Govt. P.S. Nagla Paima, Barauli Ahir, Agra. He has pursued his PhD in English on the topic Nature in the Works of Ruskin Bond, from Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra. Dr. Rajan Lal is Assistant Professor of English in the Dept. of English Studies and Research, at JSH PG College, Amroha, affiliated to MJPRU Bareilly, (U P), India.
