India has reason to be worried about climate change because a large portion of its population relies on weather patterns industries such as agriculture, forestry, and fishing for a living. Green washing, in other terms, is the practice of promoting products and services as green, natural, and environmentally safe when it is not. The Book will be helpful to researchers, scholars, corporate executives, government officers, NGOs and other activist from different disciplines in conducting research and creating awareness about green washing and climate change. ABOUT THE AUTHORS: Dr. Amit Kumar Singh (b.1973) is Professor in Department of Rural Management Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University Lucknow and Former Head department of Management, Mizoram University, Aizawl. He got his education from BHU, Varanasi, VBS PU Jaunpur and IIM Ahmedabad. He has published 5 books and more than 90 research papers in International/National journals and edited books and also chaired session/ presented papers/delivered lecture in more than 50 seminar/workshop/conferences and Chaired International conference sessions in Thailand and Vietnam. He completed 1 International research project funded by JICA and 2 national research projects funded by NABARD. He organized more than 40 national and international seminars/webinars. He is also Chairman/ member of different academic bodies like Board of Professional Studies in Management Mizoram University, NEP 2020 implementation committee for Management, Mizoram University, School Board for Economics Commerce and Management, Academic Council Member of Mizoram University, etc. He is the Chief Editor of 3 international journals and in the advisory board of 12 International journals. He guided 5Ph.D and 3 M. Phil scholars. Currently he is supervising 6 research scholars in area of human resource management, organizational behavior Carbon finance and green marketing. He was also2 term Vice President Mizoram University Teachers Association (MIZUTA). Dr. Singh also worked as Japan International Co-operation Agency (JICA) service consultant for department of Forest, Government of Mizoram. Dr. Priyanka Mahanta (b. 1997) MBA (Gold medalist), PGDCA, UGC-NET is currently working as Assistant Professor in Department of Business Administration University of Science and Technology Meghalaya. She is pursuing her Ph.D from Mizoram University in the field of Green Marketing. She received appreciation award for best performing students during her MBA studies by Gungunwala Food Equipment Pvt. Ltd. an ISO 9001:2015 certified company. She has published 2 books and 8 research papers in SCOPUS/CARE listed journals, books and seminars. She also participated inmore than 25 national and international seminars/webinars/training programmes. She is actively involved in academic programmes, NAAC activities, organizing webinars, Seminars and in the advisory boards of international seminars. She delivered lectures for UGC-NET coaching classes at department of Management Mizoram University Aizawl. Ms Mahanta also worked as visiting faculty in Mohan Lal Sukhadia University Udaipur Rajasthan for teaching email marketing courses. She is also member of different academic associations such as NEMA. Her main area of interest is marketing and finance.
