The campus of Rajiv Gandhi University and its surroundings in Arunachal Pradesh in Northeastern part of India is a good representative area to demonstrate the rich flora of Himalaya Biodiversity Hotspot region. After the removal of native vegetation and establishment of the University while many plants were introduced in the campus many local species are also returning naturally from the surrounding vegetation. While Plant Science is taught in the campus with much importance at the same time innumerable visitors move in different parts of the campus and try to recognize the plants growing there. These plants, especially the trees are not only ornamenting the campus but are also important in many other ways. Many species are otherwise economically important too and can produce quality timber, medicine, edible fruit, etc. The book looks at the trees of the campus and can be helpful to recognize the enumerated 72 species in field condition. Each plant has been enumerated along with their photographs, scientific and available local names, short description, flowering and fruiting periods, utility, availability in the campus, etc. The book will be useful for students and common people as well!
