He is post-doctorate from University of Adelaide, Australia and International Potato Centre, Lima, Peru. He has bagged awards ICAR-Lal Bahadur Shastri Outstanding Young Scientist Award, ICAR Hari Om Ashram Trust Award, NAAS Associateship Award, and IAHS-DP Ghosh Memorial Young Scientist Award etc. and published over 100 research papers/reviews. Dr. (Ms.) Tanuja Buckseth, Scientist (Senior Scale), Horticulture-Vegetable Science, ICAR-CPRI, Shimla has over eight years of research experience in seed potato production. She has contributed significantly in seed potato research for producing healthy, disease free potato seed stocks, strengthened the Hi-tech Potato seed production system (Micropropagation and aeroponic) by refining the various parameters. She has published over 40 research articles in reputed international & national journals and received awards/recognitions from several professional societies. Dr. (Ms.) Dalamu, Senior Scientist (Horticulture-Vegetable Science), ICAR-CPRI, Shimla has over 10 years of research experience in potato breeding and varietal development through conventional and marker assisted selection for various biotic stresses and nutritional enhancement, potato DUS characterisation and varietal protection. She has published more than 40 research articles, book chapters and popular articles. She is life member of Indian Potato Association, Indian Society of Vegetable Science and Horticultural Society of India. Dr. (Ms.) Aarti Bairwa, Scientist (Sr. Scale), Nematology, ICAR-CPRI, Shimla has over 9 years of research experience in potato nematodes and their different management aspects including development of potato cyst nematode resistant varieties. She has published more than 45 research papers, reviews, book chapters and technical/popular articles. She has received awards from different professional societies and is life member of Indian Potato Association. Dr. N.K. Pandey, Ex-Director (Acting), ICAR-CPRI, Shimla has over 35 years of experience on potato in Agriculture economics and Transfer of Technology. He is entrusted with the demonstrating the potato technologies and human resource development to farmers/stakeholders and staff of the Institute. He has also assessed the impact of potato technologies developed by the Institute. Dr Pandey has over 150 research publications. He has been awarded ICAR Team Research award and CPRI Merit Certificate. Dr. Manoj Kumar, Ex-Joint Director & Principal Scientist (Soil Science), ICAR-Central Potato Research Institute, Regional Station, Modipuram, Meerut (UP) has nearly 20 years of research experience on potato coordination & management and soil-nutrient management technologies. He has published over 200 research articles and received awards/ recognitions from several professional societies/ institutes. He is Fellow of Indian Potato Association, Shimla.
